12/15/2016 Student post: Tanya!Tanya P. I am very excited for the Galapagos trip because of all the different sceneries. Living in a city doesn’t really give you a full nature experience unless you go sightseeing but sometimes a change is good. Traveling to different parts of the world has always been on my bucket list ever since I discovered books and art. Learning about different places and their culture through books makes me want to experience it in real life. As a DP Art student, I get the urge to draw new things on sight and so this is a great opportunity to expand on my traditional art skills. Definitely drawing the animals, plants and even people is the activity I’m looking forward to. I am also hoping to learn about a new Hispanic culture other than my own and learning the differences about the Spanish I know and the Spanish in Ecuador. All in all, I can’t wait for this trip!
